Orchid Lake Village Unit 10 HOA is a family friendly deed-restricted community located in the beautiful Gulf coast city of Port Richey, Florida. There are sidewalks on both sides of the street and streetlights for safety. You will often see sandhill cranes crossing the street among other species of birds. The area is family friendly and home owners of all ages. Many homeowners have been living in this unit since it’s inception. Orchid Lake Village Unit #10 is close to many shopping outlets and restaurants and is only a short distance to small local beach inlets.
Located between Rowan and Lemon Roads, the area sports several schools, churches, convenience stores and banks with fast access to major highway 19 and a direct route to I-275 and a very short distance to the newest hotspot of Main street Port Richey and Sim’s Park. Warehouse clubs are a short distance away.
Recently completed, the Ridge Rd. extension now takes you right to the Veterans Expressway (Rt. 589). The Ridge Rd. extension alleviates having to traverse either north to Route 52 or south to Route 54 to access the Veterans Expressway. The Veterans Expressway is a key major north and south highway. This extension is a welcome addition to navigating to and from airports, the cruise ports and other desired locations in Florida from Orchid Lake Unit 10. This saves gas and miles going south into Tampa or north to Ocala.
Starkey Park is only a few miles away with hiking, horse trails and picnic/BBQ facilities. Overnight cabin rentals are available there for your pleasure. New Port Richey’s famed Main Street is just a few lights down with night life and plenty of eateries and bars. Located there is Sims Park which has many events all year long. There are festivals that are announced throughout the county all year long. From our HOA there is a wealth of activities for you to enjoy.
